Intern/Project Engineer

C.L. McCoy Framing Co., Inc. is seeking an Intern/Project Engineer to join our team! This Internship position has the potential to become a full-time position with benefits.

C.L. McCoy Framing Co. is a collaborative environment focusing on construction services and community. We are looking for an Intern to assist the current Lead Project Estimator.

Job Duties:
*Assist with analyzing and coordinating plans and specifications
*Assist with analyzing construction documents
*Assist with analyzing labor, material and time requirements for a project
*Present cost estimates to Lead Estimator
*Input differences between estimated costs and actual costs into spreadsheets to analyze
*Locate submittal information and submit for approval

Qualifications & Experience:
*Bachelor's degree preferred
*Construction/Architectural experience preferred
*Ability to multi-task and work within a time frame
*Knowledge of Microsoft Office
*Basic knowledge of construction terminology
*Able to read and understand construction drawings

Office Manager

C.L. McCoy Framing Co., Inc. is seeking an Office Manager to join our team! This is a full-time position with benefits.

C.L. McCoy Framing Co. is a collaborative environment focusing on construction services and community. We are looking for an Office Manager to run the operations of our sister company Neighbors Home Improvements Inc.

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively coordinate meetings and other office events. They should be comfortable answering inbound phone calls, distributing service calls for home improvements to our superintendents, and distribute payroll and invoice checks. They should also possess a friendly demeanor so they can effectively interact with office visitors and interview candidates. 

 

Responsibilities

*Coordinate and organize office activities

*Oversee stock of office supplies

*Greet visitors at office

*Coordinate services from calls

*Support HR in scheduling meetings, interviews and transport

 

Qualifications

*Experience with administrative and clerical work Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

*Strong communication skills

*Strong ability to multitask

*Friendly and upbeat demeanor
